About Us

Established in 1971, MBA Research is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization incorporated in the state of Ohio. The company is operated by a consortium of 25+ state education departments and other organizations.

MBA Research strives to align high school and college business curriculum with the employment needs of industry so that students graduate with skills that make them employable, productive, and promotable. We rely on the input of successful business leaders to help us make meaningful connections between school and career.

MBA Research is funded through a variety of sources, including membership fees (29 state education departments), sales to schools and various education and training programs, and through project grants for specific research initiatives.

Corporate and private contributions help the organization provide continuing support of local business and marketing curricula – including the support of research used by student organizations such as BPA, DECA, and FBLA.

Contributions to MBA Research are generally tax deductible. (MBA Research is a 501(c)(3) entity, organized as an educational foundation. IRS documentation is available to individuals and organizations considering a contribution.) Contributors should contact their tax advisors for all matters regarding specific deductions.

MBA Conclave is the premier gathering for Business, Marketing, Finance, Entrepreneurship and Management Educators! The goal of Conclave is to provide teachers and administrators with a comprehensive overview of contemporary curricula, pedagogy, and program development strategies, including dialogue with leading educators and industry executives.

We will consider all high-quality proposals, but there are four focus areas for sessions this year – designed to fit the needs of secondary and postsecondary business and marketing instructors, CTE administrators, and state administrators. The focus areas, along with areas of interest are:

Types of Sessions/Travel Stipend
There are several different types of sessions and each offers a stipend to help cover part of your cost of participating. Stipends are available only to individuals registered for the conference and registered at the conference hotel (local presenters excepted).  You may earn stipends for up to three different activities.
